Dilsaver shoots 800 in singles leads city tournament, Dimick leads women's singles

Youth bowler James Alfaro bowls 255, 636

Adan Dilsaver posted on his Facebook page he would rather have an 800 series than a 300 game. He got his wish in the opening weekend of the annual singles event in the annual City Tournament 278, 279 and 243 for 800 on the nose and an 818 with handicap to secure the top spot after the first weekend of action.Second place finds Terry Leak there with his 759 handicap total. He had 756 actual with games of 257, 277 and 222.

The early third-place bowler is Kris Kolk at 749 with his 277 game and 740 eries. Completing the top five Kyle Waynick, 747 and B ill Schumacher, 745.

In doubles Kurt Wood teamed with Waynick for the eaqrly lead at 1,421 Schumacher and Doug Trumbull are third at 1,372, Completing the top five are Ron Golightley and Craig Yarger at 1,339 abd Jim Darby and Ed Hoffman with 1,332.

Dilsaver also leads the all-events with his 2,157 total; while Waynick is close behind at 2,136 and Wood at 2,093. fourth is Lucas Jenne and fifth is Mondo Calderon with 2,082 and 2,078, respectively.

Women

Mary Ann Dimick shot a 662 series for 722 with handicap to lead the women's division in singles. she had games of 233, 224 and 205.

Mary Crumley sits in second place after the first weekend with her 718 handicap total. She had a 496 actual total. Sandy Peace, Yogi Wammes and Jessica Hunt complete the top five with 682, 676, and 672, respectively.

Abby Lane and Teresa Hiler lead the doubles with a 1,422 handicap total Anita Dilsaver and Wammes are second at 1,334; and Betty Jackson and Peace are third at 1,322.

Wmmes leads the All-events with her 2,028 total followed by Crumley, 2,000 and Lane, 1,990.

Action concludes Sunday in both events.

Surviving the Game:

The latest results showed those eliminated in the Surviving the Game event were Mark Wolford, Randy Miller League, -86; Chris Peace, American League 76 pins under and Ron Steinman, Eagles, -66.
